Minimally Invasive Surgery
Minimally invasive foot surgery is a surgical procedure that is used to treat conditions of the foot that are not life-threatening. It is one of the most common treatments for injuries to the foot or ankle.
It reduces pain, swelling, and disability after surgery, boosts recovery time, and avoids long incisions.
The most common minimally invasive surgery for the foot is arthroscopic surgery. This type of surgery has become very popular because it uses small incisions to allow the surgeon to insert a camera into your joint to see what they are doing inside it on a TV monitor outside your body.

Our specialized podiatrists offer advanced wound management, including in-office skin grafting, where healthy skin is carefully transplanted to the affected area, encouraging faster recovery and tissue regeneration.
This precise procedure is ideal for diabetic foot ulcers, traumatic injuries, and post-surgical wounds, helping restore skin integrity and improve patient outcomes.
Custom orthotics are personalized shoe inserts designed to provide optimal support, comfort, and alignment for your feet. Our podiatrists use advanced technology to assess your unique foot structure and gait, crafting orthotics tailored to address specific issues like flat feet, plantar fasciitis, or overpronation.
There are a few causes for bunions. The first one is hereditary, where your parents’ genes cause you to have a bunion. Bunions can also be caused by wearing pointed-toe shoes or shoes with narrow toes.
Hammertoes are deformed toes that curl up and point towards the second toe. A hammertoe is a foot deformity in which one or more toes bend downward toward the other toes and often curve into a claw shape. Hammertoe is also called hallux rigidus.
Our podiatrists use advanced laser technology to target and destroy the fungus beneath the nail without damaging surrounding tissue.
This quick, non-invasive procedure promotes healthy nail regrowth and is ideal for patients seeking an alternative to oral medications or topical treatments.

Toenail Fungus
Toenail fungus is a common foot fungus that may affect one or both feet simultaneously. It can develop when the nail’s surface becomes colonized by an organism called dermatophyte fungi. The signs and symptoms of this condition are yellow nails, an unpleasant odor coming from the feet, and thickening of the nail plate (thickening).
It is a painful and potentially dangerous infection that originates from the nail and burrows into the skin at the end of the big toe. It can affect any of your toes, but it’s most common on the big toe.
A person with an ingrown toenail may experience:
-painful or burning sensation around their affected nail;
-redness, swelling, and warmth around the nail;
-painful walking or wearing tight shoes;
-pain when standing up after sitting for a long time (known as “heel pain”).

Sprains and Foot Injuries
A foot sprain is a condition caused by an injury to the foot’s ligaments. A foot sprain may be one of the most common overuse injuries, especially among athletes.
Symptoms can include pain, swelling, and stiffness in the foot or ankle after activity, which may last for several hours or days.
It can happen when you turn your ankle or twist your ankle due to an uneven surface, stepping on something sharp like a pebble or stumbling. Or if you overextend your toes and then flex them back again abruptly.
Foot sprains are often caused by an activity requiring sudden direction changes or quick movements on uneven ground. This includes sports that involve running and jumping, such as basketball and soccer, activities that place stress on one.
Surgical Scars
A surgical foot scar is a type of foot scar that develops after a surgical procedure. The surgical incision site, which was the site where the tissue was cut and sutured, may have a noticeable change in skin texture. As a result, there may be a scar, a red area around the incision site, or swelling that may develop over time.
Many things can cause it to appear, including skin abrasions or scrapes from accidents and surgeries.

Heel Pain
Heel pain is one of the most common foot problems.
Heel pain is often described as a sharp, throbbing, or stabbing sensation that may be felt in the heel itself or in the back of the lower leg. The pain can worsen with long periods of standing, weight-bearing activities, and movement.
A medical pedicure is a specialized foot treatment performed by a podiatrist or trained medical professional to address common foot concerns like calluses, corns, fungal infections, and ingrown toenails. Unlike a cosmetic pedicure, a medical pedicure prioritizes foot health and hygiene, using sterile instruments and medical-grade techniques to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Ideal for individuals with diabetes, circulatory issues, or anyone looking for a professional foot care solution, a medical pedicure helps maintain healthy, pain-free feet.
Diabetic foot care is essential for individuals with diabetes to prevent complications like infections, ulcers, and neuropathy-related injuries. Proper foot care includes daily inspections for cuts or wounds, regular moisturizing to prevent dryness and cracks, and professional check-ups with a podiatrist.
Specialized treatments, including medical pedicures and diabetic-friendly footwear, help reduce the risk of serious conditions that can lead to amputation. Managing blood sugar levels and prioritizing foot health are key to preventing long-term diabetic complications.
